Wax Carving for Casting - In Store Workshop

This class is in person for 4 weeks, 6 hours per week.

Join Krista Reid of Velocity Jewelry in this 4 week workshop, students will learn to carve and sculpt in various types of wax starting with a pendant design and working up to ring designs.

Using files, carving tools, saw, hot iron and other specialty tools you will learn how to create various textures or fine finishes on wax.

All tools and wax will be provided for use in class including aprons and protective eyewear.

Class cost: $499, materials included. Casting of the wax models created into silver will be an extra cost and will be discussed further in class.

PREREQUISITES: Beginners welcome!
