PoCo Inspired: Tell us a bit about yourself

Madysen: My name is Madysen and I’m a local Métis artist in Winnipeg, MB. I have so many hobby’s but beading has been my biggest!! I enjoy spending time with my people, being in nature and taking care of my fur babies.

PoCo Inspired: When did you first start making jewellery and what was the first piece you ever made?

Madysen: I first started making beaded items only one year ago!!
My first ever piece was a circle cabbed pair of earrings that I will forever treasure.

PoCo Inspired: What inspires your creativity when making a new piece of jewellery?

Madysen: The people I surround myself with truly inspire most of my items. They always have fun ideas for me to try!

PoCo Inspired: What is the single most important skill you have learned and why?

Madysen: I Hhave learned lots of patience through beading and am incredibly grateful for it. Patience will always be key.

PoCo Inspired: What challenges do you face in your work?

Madysen: A challenge I face most often is motivation. Some days are hard to get out of bed and start beading but, my people give me the motivation to do it!

PoCo Inspired: What is your biggest achievement so far in your business?

Madysen: My biggest achievement is how fast my following grew!
