Shoulder Bag - In Store Workshop

Join leather artist Sheila of Magpie Chiq, in making this unique and customizable shoulder bag. In this workshop you will choose your leather combo and create wood burned images to customize you amazing bag. Even if you haven't hand sewn before, you will come away with a masterpiece, a lot of laughs and maybe some new friends. This is about slowing down and creating intention with our hearts and hands. Let's get creative and get out stitch on!

This will be a 3 day workshop, (there will be homework):
Day 1 - You will choose your leather options, findings and then create pocket style and locations, cut out leather and wood burn images if desired. You will sew together your inside pockets and the handles. Anything not completed in class will become your homework.
Day 2 - You will complete components from day 1 (if needed) then clip together the body of the bag. You will mark where you want your magnets, grommets and lobster claw. You will then sew together the body of the bag.
Day 3 - You will complete sewing the body of the bag and add magnets and grommets. You will sew on the outer trim and add straps.
