Amazonite - Cabochon

This stone is best suited for earrings, pendants and jewelry pieces with protective settings that won't expose the stone to a lot of wear and tear. The color of the stone is nicely complemented by white metal and lower-karat gold.

Amazonite is a form of microcline feldspar and displays a lightly marbled yellow-green to blue-green color. It is generally opaque, and is a relatively soft stone that should be handled with care.
